Mike Watson State Farm is looking for a driven Acquisitions Specialist to join our growing Melbourne office. Backed by our long-established agency in Highland, this is an exciting opportunity to help grow our newest location while benefiting from the support, reputation, and success of an established State Farm agency.

Licensing Requirement
- Active Arkansas Property & Casualty license is required prior to your start date.
- Candidates currently working toward their P&C license are encouraged to apply.
- We provide study materials, coaching, and full support throughout the licensing process to help you become licensed before your first day.
What You'll Do
- Prospect for new business through referrals, networking, community involvement, outbound calls, and lead follow-up.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.
- Conduct needs-based conversations and recommend personalized insurance solutions.
- Quote, present, and close Auto, Home, Renters, Life, and other insurance products.
- Cross-sell multiple product lines to better protect customers and maximize every opportunity.
- Follow up consistently to convert quotes into written business.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with agency and state insurance guidelines.
- Consistently meet or exceed sales and production goals.
What We're Looking For
- Active Arkansas Property & Casualty license or the ability to obtain it before employment.
- Competitive, sales-focused mindset with a passion for building new business.
- Strong communication, prospecting, and closing skills.
- Self-motivated with disciplined follow-up and excellent organizational abilities.
- Ability to build trust and develop long-term customer relationships.
- Previous insurance, banking, retail, business development, or consultative sales experience is preferred.
